Mohabbatein achieved what his all
previous works put together could not do for him! It has
brought Jimmy Shergill into limelight and this
boy is surely enjoying his sudden rise to fame. Jimmy
plays one of the six youngsters in the aforementioned
film and has done a tremendously good job. So what if he
is a late-bloomer. Jimmy hails from Delhi and debuted in Gulzar's Maachis . As a hardcore militant, he did whatever little the role required but did not get much notice. Then there was Jahan Tum Le Chalo which was a debacle but soon Mohabbatein came and with this, a feeling of confidence in him which was missing earlier. Gulzaar saab appreciates his soft-spokenness, dreamy looks and talents which this young man has aplenty. Being chosen for Mohabbatein was a dream come true for him considering the fact that it was the second film of Aditya Chopra after DDLJ and this film being Aditya's personal favourite.
